Life will always take you full circle. And in that circle, there will be smaller circles. So while I initially started my adult life wanting to be a pastor I instead became a teacher, I soon left teaching for a wonderful period of learning about I.T., people and business. Then I spent some time managing a group of private remedial schools.

Now, I find myself back being a student. I am doing a BTh with Counselling at SATS, and I am fascinated with the legacy and the role of non-profits and faith-based organizations in helping our community. I am the Executive Director of Argento Community Technologies NPC and the Southside Legacy Foundation.

I live near Kommetjie, in the Deep South of the Cape Peninsula of South Africa. Kommetjie still desperately wants to be rural and is just managing to hang in there – no street lights, and the community is very involved. I love it here.
